Portrait and candid photography 101: Friends and family first. Strangers and the world come next...
Shot on the eve of one of US Royalty's most important gigs in New York City. This was my first real group shoot, essentially "off the cuff". We spent the majority of the interview within a Chinese tea house, much to the annoyance of the tea house management. Realizing we were over staying our welcome, we hit one of the most famous streets in China town for a few group photos.
For 3 months, Levi's infamous pop-up-shop hit New York City. Thanks to the awesome lighting and aesthetic of the workshop, the over all shoot took about 30 minutes. The rest of our allocated time was spent picking the brains of the Levi's photographers and playing with $30,000 Leica SLR's. A true photographers wet-dream!

Levi Maestro runs the profilic and ever amazing video log / blog / lifestyle website; Maestro Knows. This was my first (and nervous) shoot with the famed Inquiring Mind magazine. The location was at Jeff Staple's famous "Reed Space" spot on the Lower East Side, Manhattan.
